Bargain Properties >Advice From Real Estate Agents
When buying a home, it is essential to cooperate as closely as possible with your real estate agent. This can be challenging, especially if your agent asks you to do some things that you don't particularly want to do to in order to get you moved into your new home as quickly as possible.
When real estate agents advise you regarding ways to make the transaction work, they are acting as part coach and part business consultant. If you find the house you love and want to "sleep on" the decision for a few days, the agent knows that you run the risk of losing the house. If you are inclined to complicate your offer with clauses that might make the contract unattractive to the sellers, the agent may ask you to consider some modifications. Should you call the week before the closing with an attack of "buyer's remorse", your agent knows the cure. Following your real estate agent's suggestions will increase your chances for a successful move!

Tom Heyl is a “native” of Chatham Twp. and has lived in Green Village or Chatham Twp. for his entire life. Tom graduated from Chatham Twp. high school in 1985 and then went on to graduate from Rutgers University’s Cook College with a degree in economics. Tom then spent the next several years working at his family’s business, Heyl Rose’s Inc., the last remaining commercial rose and cut flower grower in New Jersey. After the family decided to sell the farm in 1999, Tom went directly into real estate. Because of Tom’s long history in and keen knowledge of the area, his realty business immediately took off. Tom has a thorough understanding and knowledge of not only Chatham Twp. and Chatham Boro, but also the surrounding towns of Summit, Madison, Harding Twp., New Providence and Long Hill Twp’s as well as the Mendham’s, Bernardsville and Morristown areas. Tom is one of the original “members” of Keller Williams of Morris, Essex, Union and Somerset Counties, joining the company in 2004 when the Summit office first opened. Tom Heyl is a full time realtor who would be more than happy to speak with you concerning any of your realty needs.
